Tic tac, tic tac Seconds became minutes, And minutes counted by the hours Each day gives way to another, Weeks rolled by and turned months We all grew older, not younger. Tic tac, tic tac We are here again at the borderline Waiting to cross and start a new count The last day of the year is here; A year once called NEW is now ending For another 365 days to be given. Think twice, be wise! Though it seems the world has no end But true, no man will live forever.
